The Chinese government attaches great importance to the safety and health of foreign nationals in China. In order to build a most effective defense barrier, China has extended the scope of domestic vaccination to the appropriate age group of foreigners in China. The general feedback from inoculated foreigners was: safe, effective and acceptable.

自疫情暴发以来，中国一直致力于自主研发疫苗，已有多款国产疫苗投入大规模接种。截至2021年8月1日，全国新冠疫苗接种已超16亿剂次。同时，中国政府秉持人类卫生健康共同体理念，向120多个国家出口疫苗和提供疫苗援助，累计向世界提供超7亿剂新冠疫苗和原液，数量超过其他国家总和。

此外，据已有监测数据，我国国产新冠疫苗针对不同新冠病毒变异株仍有良好的保护性。基于今年5月份广州新冠病毒德尔塔变异株暴发疫情的研究，结果证明国产疫苗是有保护作用的。研究初步统计显示，疫苗对重症的保护效果为100%，对中度、轻度、无症状的保护效果分别为76.9%、67.2%、63.2%。

Research results based on statistics from Delta patients in Guangzhou in May showing that China vaccines offered protection against the new virus.
